One thing in particular is evident is the Lions will need to send one or more defenders towards the QB more often than the LA Rams have done in recent seasons. The main reason by far is the Lions don't have an impact pass rusher even close to the level of Aaron Donald.

Far too many in the media try to create controversy that doesn't exist or is minimal. I'm not the least concerned about what took place following Elijah Mitchell's long TD run. Aubrey Pleasant is a highly respected Assistant Coach in the NFL. I think he's going to be an NFL Defensive Coordinator by 2023 and eventually an NFL HC. The Lions are fortunate to have him as DB Coach this season. Especially, with the enormous amount of youth with the overall CB unit.

What doesn't add up is Aubrey Pleasant had a heated exchange with Jeff Okudah following the 38 yard TD Run by Elijah Mitchell. An interception wasn't possible by Okudah on the play. Maybe there was a prior play on that drive, in which Okudah had a chance for an interception that Pleasant was upset with Okudah's effort to come up with an interception?
