The Lions still need more options at both CB and S. The Safety situation is a greater concern at this time. A likely long term starter opposite Tracy Walker is something the Lions probably lack. After Tracy Walker, Bobby Price probably has the most upside potential of the Lions Safeties.

Lions training camp battle preview: Sorting out the safeties

If Tracy Walker builds on his first 2 seasons with the Lions, putting the 2020 season behind him, the Lions would be in good shape at one of the Safety positions. Everyone else in the Safety mix for the Lions have to prove that they can handle a starting or sub-pack ( 3rd Safety ) role. This position unit is a reflection on why most are predicting the Lions will be near the bottom of the NFL in the 2021 season.
