Dolphins may look to trade down from No. 6
......
One additional possibility for the Dolphins is if they specifically want one player ( Kyle Pitts ) or ( Ja'Marr Chase ) and that player isn't available at # 6. Hence, they draft either DeVonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle. Tua Tagovailoa would then have a target that he's familiar and comfort with from his Alabama days. Under this scenario, if the Dolphins brass likes both Alabama WRs around the same, then a trade down is more likely.

Are 49ers on same page about No. 3 overall pick?
........
It's fair to say that the eventual progress level of the QB the 49ers end up taking will make or break the current 49ers regime. If the QB doesn't get to a level close that the pick # 3 draft slot reflects, John Lynch and / or Kyle Shanahan will very likely be fired by 49ers CEO Jed York.

.....
I'm not convinced that Justin Fields is out of the running to be drafted with pick # 3 by the 49ers.

Weeks after trading up, the 49ers apparently still don’t know what they’re doing at No. 3
....
Kyle Shanahan should listen with an open mind to the football people around him in the 49ers organization for input. If Shanahan still believes that one QB ( assume for the sake of discussion it's Mac Jones ) is a better risk / reward fit for his system, he should take Jones. If he drafts another QB and that QB isn't good enough, it could prove very costly for him. If Jones doesn't pan out at a high enough level ( which very realistically could happen ), at least Shanahan went down with someone he truly believed in.

No one knows what 49ers will do
....
The other mystery associated with the 49ers, regarding Pick # 3, is the uncertainty of how their decision will affect the picks that follow in the draft?

Kyle Shanahan: “Irresponsible” to listen to outside opinions on No. 3 pick
.....
Time will tell if Kyle Shanahan will make the best QB choice for the 49ers or even a good choice. I do agree with the way he's approaching the decision. When you make football decisions based on what the media and fan base recommend, you will probably be amongst them in two or three seasons.
