Lions 2018 review: Matthew Stafford has to get right again…………………. This new thread relates to the following thread:
Reply Lions 2018 season Awards I won't debate the C grade Matthew Stafford was given. Yet, a case can be made for a slightly higher grade for Stafford because of the adverse conditions he was playing in, especially in the final 9 games of the season..
One thing in particular I disagree with in the article is regarding Matthew Stafford's utilization of the slot receiver position. When Golden Tate was in the slot, noticeably more often than not, this was a productive position that increased the Lions chances of winning. Tate's most productive seasons were with Matthew Stafford as his QB

Lions 2018 review: Kerryon Johnson is a keeper in need of help
………………….
I agree about the overall B- grade for the Lions RBs in the 2018 season. If the grade is altered, it probably should be a little higher ( B ), not a half notch lower.
Though Kerry Johnson needs some improvement in pass/ blitz protection, for a rookie I thought he did well in that facet of the game.
I'm hoping Theo Riddick is retained, Zach Zenner is re-signed if the price is on the modest side, and the Lions draft a RB in the middle rounds of the draft.
