Trey Flowers eligible to return is a good thing , the Lions need more playmakers in the DL.
Stafford's bruises are adding up ... thumb, rib

Hopefully, Trey Flowers will be healthy enough to return and is activated. The Lions Defense in its present state appears overmatched.

..........
Of the Titans players currently on their 53 man roster, they have a relatively good injury situation for this point in time of an NFL season.

What's the point if he is not 100% fit ? We already know that he is a tough guy, no need to overplay that role. The Lions will need Stafford healthy either to play him or trade him, so shouldn't the call be made by the coach + medical staff + GM in the best interest of the organization ? My questioning is not about him playing or not, but rather WHO is empowered to take that decision ?

Being that Matthew Stafford wasn't cleared to play in the 2nd half of the 2019 season with the back injury he suffered in Oakland in early November of that season, I'm confident Stafford was cleared to play today by the Lions Medical staff. Once that happened, Darrell Bevell gave Stafford the green light to start the game, if Stafford felt he was ready.
Apparently, the committee that's acting as a Lions GM didn't overrule Bevell. This, assuming they had the power to do so.
Apparently, it was determined by the Lions medical staff that Stafford isn't at greater significant risk by playing in this game.
If Matthew Stafford has a good performance in this game, his trade value should increase.
