What's puzzling in the Golladay's case is that is seemingly started as a minor injury. It raises now the question of his re-signing ?
The RB squad will also undergo major changes / cuts in the off-season.

IMHO, the most likely scenario with Kenny Golladay is the Lions place the Franchise Tag on him. With either Golladay playing a season under the Franchise Tag or the Lions trading him.
Other than D'Andre Swift, I think there's more than a 50-50 chance that none of other Lions current RBs ( not counting the FB ) will be on the Lions roster in the 2021 Regular Season.

.........
Red Zone plays and the need for a huge chunk play probably would be the best ways to use Kenny Golladay, if he's available for this game.

NFL Week 14 injury report roundup: Will DeAndre Hopkins, Daniel Jones play Sunday?
Packers at Lions
Packers G Simon Stepaniak (knee) and TE Jace Sternberger (concussion) have been ruled out. S Darnell Savage (groin), WR Equanimeous St. Brown (knee, concussion), and WR Malik Taylor (hamstring) are listed as questionable.
RB D'Andre Swift (illness) has missed the last three games, but there’s optimism from the Lions about his chances of playing this weekend. DE Austin Bryant (thigh), DE Da'shawn Hand (groin), S C.J. Moore (ankle), DT John Penisini (shoulder), and QB Matthew Stafford (right thumb) join Swift in the questionable category. T Tyrell Crosby (ankle), WR Kenny Golladay (hip), and CB Jeff Okudah (groin) will not play.

Regarding the PFT injury info, since that article was written, Everson Griffen was placed on the COVID-19 list. He's definitely out for this game.
Much like with John Penisini, Packers S Darnell Savage was limited in Practice on Friday after practicing in Full the previous two days. Savage is a playmaking versatile Safety.
