Bo Scarbrough got released later in the day, when Justin Coleman was activated from IR.
I'm not sure if bringing Jonathan Williams back was more about his input about the Colts and the WFT ( the Lions play them in 15 days ) than him being considered a significant upgrade over Scarbrough.
With Everson Griffen likely going to be added to the Lions 53 man roster early this coming week, it remains to be seen if Williams will keep his roster spot.
It's possible the Lions will trade Kerryon Johnson, which would be very risky, considering he's become a huge asset in picking up blitzes.
