Romeo Okwara hasn’t seen new contract offer despite leading Detroit’s improved pass rush

Frenchy, I hope the Lions are able to re-sign Romeo Okwara at a price that reflects he's much improved. But not as a someone who is amongst the best pass rushers in the NFL. Okwara has not been double teamed that much when the Lions ended up rushing 4 or more defenders. By contrast, edge rusher Khalil Mack and interior D-Lineman Aaron Donald get double teamed very often. .
If Okwara continues to play at least at the overall level he's played at from the Cardinals on, I would be comfortable with a 3 year / $ 30 million contract that the Lions can move on from after 2 years.

I guess these delayed re-signings are closely linked to who will be the coach next year ?

That's likely a factor.
An additional factor is the likely major NFL salary cap reduction in 2021, because of the COVID-19 ramifications on NFL Revenue in the 2020 season.
