I'm not sure if the Lions made a serious attempt to re-sign Mike Daniels or assess him from a medical standpoint.

I certainly can't blame the Lions from apparently moving on from Daniels, because of his injury history the last 2 seasons, and that he turned 31 in the off-season.

This confirms that the Lions brass no longer believes that Mike Daniels can be counted on to be a major asset on the field for an overall season.
