It's fair to say this is a career achievement award for Don Muhlbach, even though he could have one or more effective seasons remaining.
In terms of the article, Jason Hanson is the longest tenured player in Lions history ( 21 seasons ). In fact, that's the largest amount of seasons an NFL player was with the same team.
