This is a play that DeAndre Swift should have made but the game never should have come down to the Lions needing a TD to win the game. It's good to see Matt Patricia and at least some of Swift's teammates provide support to him. Swift is a key player for the Lions moving forward.

Very good job by DeAndre Swift with how handled the dropped pass that very likely would have bailed many of his teammates after 21 unanswered points by the Bears. Swift was humble in the media session, as well as appreciative of the support he received. I'm optimistic he will turn adversity into success.

As long as D'Andre Swift avoids major injury, he should continue to improve as he gains experience. Swift has already made substantial strides, as evidenced by his impactful performance in Jacksonville.

Most likely, D'Andre Swift suffered the concussion in practice yesterday. It's possible that he suffered the concussion in the game vs. WFT and that it didn't surface until last night or today.

The good news is D'Andre Swift's health has improved to the point that he more likely than not will play in an NFL game ( vs. the Packers ) on Sunday. Beyond this, it would be speculation om my part.

I'm confident that D'Andre Swift will continue to improve, providing that the headaches he dealt with don't become a problem again. After seeing that transpired with former Lions RB Jahvid Best and C Travis Swanson, the situation Swift went through is unsettling.
