Sources: MRI shows Teddy Bridgewater's knee OK, but status uncertain; Christian McCaffrey likely out Sunday
........
Great news regarding Teddy Bridgewater not suffering another major knee injury. Much like Alex Smith, Bridgewater overcame enormous hurdles to get back from an injury that easily could have altered his life beyond football. Both QBs have great intangibles.
The Lions have to be prepared for multiple Panthers scenarios at QB and RB.
When relatively healthy, Christian McCaffrey is a differential rusher and receiver. Easily, a top 5 RB in the NFL. McCaffrey was certainly a differential factor in the Panthers win in Detroit in October, 2017. Mike Davis is having a surprising strong season. But with the exception of Dalvin Cook and maybe. Alvin Kamara, no one can truly replace the running / receiving combination McCaffrey brings to the table.

Matthew Stafford, Marvin Jones, Danny Amendola not practicing for Lions; Kenny Golladay back
..........
At the very least, it's evident that the Lions are going to limit Matthew Stafford's practice time for the foreseeable future. Realistically, for the rest of the season even if Stafford continues to play in games.
The news on Kenny Golladay is good. It remains to be seen if he practices the rest of the week and is cleared to play on Sunday at Carolina.
It's possible today is a day of rest for veteran WR Marvin Jones. Especially, with two games in 5 days coming up.
Danny Amendola seems more likely to miss the Panthers game than Marvin Jones.
The injury situation at other positions than QB and WR is trending upward.

Panthers say Christian McCaffrey set to miss Sunday’s game
............
Unless Christian McCaffrey practices at least one day this week, I think it's near 100 % that he will be ruled out for the game against the Lions.
Even w/o McCaffrey, there's plenty to be concerned about for the Lions. That much more with the injury situation with Matthew Stafford and at WR. The Panthers have playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Panthers Week 11 injury report: Teddy Bridgewater limited on Wednesday
.........
Not having the starting RB, LT, RG, top CB ( if the other 3 are out ), on top of a highly questionable injury situation with the starting QB, is a difficult spot for the Panthers. Whether the Lions can take advantage of the Panthers misfortune, when factoring in the Lions injuries, remains to be seen.

Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater reportedly inching closer to missing Week 11 game vs. Lions
..........
If Teddy Bridgewater isn't healthy enough to play vs. the Lions, I anticipate P.J. Walker starting. Walker was ahead of Will Grier in the Panthers pecking order when Bridgewater came out of games. In addition, Walker is the QB of the two that came to Carolina with Matt Rhule as Head Coach. Grier was drafted by the Panthers when Ron Rivera was still their HC.

All of this on top of the concern of Matthew Stafford's thumb injury.
