Lions continue their raid on ex-Patriots players by reportedly trading for S Duron Harmon
………………
Assuming the trade is a swap of late Round Draft picks only, this is a great trade for the Lions. The Patriots have major salary cap issues. An illustration of this is the high amount of their quality UFAs agreeing to contracts with other teams in the legal tampering period. Including, Jamie Collins and Danny Shelton with the Lions.
Duron Harmon's base salary for 2020 is $ 3.5 million. Based on Harmon's skills and performance level over several seasons, and that he only turned 29 in January, the Lions should get good value from Harmon in the 2020 season. That much more with his familiarity to Matt Patricia, the Lions Defensive system that has been used under Patricia, some of the Lions Assistant Coaches, some Lions teammates, and Harmon being on 3 Super Bowl winning teams ( and a 4th that reached the Super Bowl ).

10 players on the field = undiscipline dumb penalties = undiscipline players out of control = undiscipline
Against the Vikings, 3 and 1 in the 4th quarter, 34-20 with 4'13" to go, there was a remote chance to play for a comeback. #58 Jamie Collins made a great play, shedding his block and tackling #25 Mattison. He stopped him short of the 1st down but Mattison kept churning his legs. #26 Harmon could have rallied and pushed Mattison backwards ... but no, he hesitated...and Mattison fell forward gaining the first down That would have been a more positive option to show his aggressiveness...

Frenchy, I looked at the 3rd and 1 play you mentioned again. Good observation regarding Duron Harmon not bring aggressive enough on the play. Maybe this is because of the foolish penalty that Harmon took earlier in the 4th QTR. Regardless, much more is needed from Harmon than the results of the combined two plays.

........... Duron Harmon is fortunate that he didn't get ejected and / or a suspension.
