NFLPA ratifies new CBA
………………
By far, expanding the playoffs from 12 to 14 teams, is the facet of the CBA that I dislike the most. To the point that I don't know plenty of the details in the new CBA, yet I'm confident that nothing else in the agreement that will come close to that level of dissatisfaction.

NFL can expand to 17 games after players ratify new CBA by razor-thin vote
...……………
The added roster flexibility is a plus. The decrease in the number of padded practices allowed ( the number each team has varies ) is harder to predict, in terms of the end product on the field. I'm not sure how many teams have more than 16 padded training camp practices. I'm also not sure if the maximum number includes practices once training camp is over. The latter seems like the more significant aspect to keep an eye on.

Owners to vote next week on 14-team playoff
………………..
Even assuming it takes at least a 3/4 ( 75 % ) majority for NFL Playoff Expansion to become a reality, I have very little hope that enough NFL owners will vote NO.
The TV Ratings of NFL playoff games likely will be adversely affected with playoff expansion. Not many people have the time and desire to watch 6 NFL games over a 2 or 3 day period. If lesser seeded teams are the ones that remain deep in the playoffs, that also likely will lead to decreased TV ratings. The NFL hasn't learned little from the follies of the NHL playoff system.

NBC, CBS would televise the two extra wild-card games
…………………
It would be an unfair disadvantage for a team to have to play a playoff game on Monday Night and then the next Sunday. Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the NFL ignored that because of the lure for even more revenue.
