Anthony Zettel signs with Vikings
…………..
Even if Anthony Zettel doesn't play another down in an NFL regular season game, he will always have the experience of playing in a Super Bowl.
Time will tell if Zettel makes the Vikings opening day roster and/ or plays with the team at all in a regular season game. I'm confident though that Mike Zimmer and the Vikings Defensive Coaches will appreciate the work ethic and overall professionalism Zettel brings to the table.

Ezekiel Ansah still unsigned and the Lions shouldn't bite
……………
Unless Ziggy Ansah would be willing to sign for a low amount of guaranteed money ( I don't think this will be the case anytime soon ), the Lions would be foolish to sign him without being able to conduct a medical physical on Ansah. He's had an assortment of injuries in recent years that would have to be checked out.

Report: Patriots cut Keionta Davis
…………….
It wouldn't be surprising in the least if the Lions claim Keionta Davis off waivers. With Davis then having the opportunity to compete for a roster spot primarily on Special Teams and as an edge rotation player on Defense.

Bears bring back defensive tackle John Jenkins
…………….
John Jenkins is a good system fit for the Bears. He's also a prime example of an UFA signing with a different team than he played for the previous season.....after the deadline for UFAs to count in the Compensatory Draft Pick process, passed.

Dolphins cut Taco Charlton
…………………
Unless the Lions are able to sign Taco Charlton to a highly favorable contract from a team standpoint, with a low amount of guaranteed money, it would be best not to sign him ( if he isn't claimed off waivers by another team.

Falcons waive Takk McKinley
...........
Takk McKinley is a combination DE and OLB. He's a edge player that in some ways is a good fit for the Lions. He's tempting for the Lions to claim on waivers. A change of scenery might be what gets McKinney back on track.
