The list will be updated as events warrant, with signings, tags and re-signings denoted when announced and/or reported.

It's highly unlikely the Lions will use the Franchise or Transition Tag this year.

Justin Rogers' Top 50 NFL free agents for 2020

Graham Glasgow is the only Lions player in the top 50 ( # 46 ) or even the top 60 Free Agent list that Justin Rogers provides.

Even with many possible Franchise Tag candidates, this Free Agent crop looks better in terms of a top 50 or 60 list than the typical FA list in a given year. Of course some players could still re-sign with their current team before the beginning of the FA period.

Free agent market changes on Monday, could push Lions to sign players

There were no reports of the Lions signing any veteran FAs today.

Most likely, Bob Quinn is waiting for prices to drop or further drop on some FAs he has interest in for the Lions.

DT/ Interior Defensive Line, a blocking TE, additional Offensive Tackle depth, and a LB who is an asset in pass coverage ( with Special Teams value ) are positions I believe are positions more help is needed. Another WR who is a viable candidate to be a primary backup on the outside and/ or in the slot, also makes sense at a team friendly price.

If the Lions believe that value at another position might be too good to pass up, that player ( s ) should get serious consideration.
