Contest Rules
Here is the scoring format for the NFL playoff contest for the 2019 season:
1) Pick the winner of each game. If you are correct, you get the following amount of points:
1) 1st round=40 2) 2nd round=50 3) 3rd round=60 4)Super Bowl=80
2) Pick both teams you think will be in the Super Bowl before the playoffs begin. If you are correct on both you get 40 points.
3) Pick who you think will be the Super Bowl MVP before the playoff begin. If you are correct you get 40 points.
4) Pick the score of each game. If you are within 5 points or less of the score of both teams, you get 20 points for that game, providing you pick the winner correctly.
For example, if you pick Philadelphia to beat Seattle 24-20 and they win, 23-16, you win because you are within 5 points of the score. But if Philadelphia wins, 23-15, you would not get the extra points because the difference would be 6 points.
5) If you pick the exact score of any game, you get 35 points, instead of 20 points, as described in section # 4.
6) In Round 4 ( Super Bowl ), chose the team that will score the first points of the game. You get 15 points for a correct selection. You don't make this selection until Round 4.
7 ) In Round 4 ( Super Bowl ), chose the player who will score the first points of the game. If you think that it will be a passing Touchdown, then chose the person who will catch the ball and score. You would get 25 points for a correct selection. You don't make this selection until Round 4.
If you have any questions about this, please let me know.
