In this thread, pick the team that you want to use for Round # 3 for NFL Survivor ( 2019 ). Keep in mind that there is a Thursday Night game to choose from but you can choose any game ( assuming you didn't use that team yet ) providing you make the selection before kickoff of that game.
Basically, the rules for this contest is to pick a winner from the NFL game of your choice. If the team you pick wins the game, you then advance to the next Round AND you don't get a strike for an incorrect selection. Then that week, you choose another team that you think will win the game of your choice. Once you choose a team, you can't use that team again as a potential winning selection. Hence, if you choose New England for example in Week # 1, you can't use them again the rest of the season as your choice to win a game in this contest.
If the team you choose ties its game, then the following week, you have to pick winners of 2 games in order to advance to the round after that. Until then, you don't get a strike for a missed selection.
You remain in the contest until you have 3 strikes for missed selections. A missed week counts as a strike for a missed selection.
The reason for the 3 strikes is to try to keep the contest going longer. Some years, this contest goes for a long time. There have been some seasons though that the contest ended very early.
If the Contest goes on to Week # 17, you then would list the top 5 winners in priority order. This would be basically a tiebreaker. If it comes down to Week # 17, I'll explain this in more detail. Keep in mind, you can't choose a team you already used.
The contest is open to all DLF members and anyone else you would like to include their entry such as a family member or friend.
