A huge reason why I feel the Lions decided to give Damon Harrison a contract extension is that he showed up to training camp on time. Most likely, tbe team brass liked the efforts of Harrison during and after the time he was placed on the Non Football Injury list. Including, helping other players become better.

I'm more than fine with the contract terms. My only concern is will one or more other players skip the Lions off-season program in the attempt to get a contract extension?

I think Damon Harrison should have been used more in the 4th QTR and OT to help the Lions. Especially, because of tbe fatigue factor of the other interior Defensive Lineman. Snacks also provides the bull rush dimension.

I thought Damon Harrison played better for the most part as the season went on than early in the season. Yet, he clearly wasn't the differential player over the course of games he was prior to this season. Unless Harrison feels that he can get his body back to where it needs to be, I think it's best that he retires.
