I didn't see this coming. Mike Daniels has been one of the best all around interior Defensive Lineman in the NFL. A player who has given the Lions major problems in many games.

Daniel's turned 30 in the Spring. I hope he goes to an AFC Team not on the Lions schedule this season.

Even factoring in the salary cap, I remain VERY surprised the Packers released Mike Daniels. I'm also surprised that they couldn't work out a trade for Daniels, being that his services will be in demand and that some teams have plenty of 2019 salary cap space.
