Versatility and Special Teams likely will be major factors regarding who the Lions # 3 TE will be in 2019 and if the Lions carry 4 TEs.

Though the odds are against Jerome Cunningham to make the Lions opening day 53 man roster, his blocking late last season was impressive.

I'm optimistic that TE will be a team strength this season for the Lions. It's certainly looking that way at least from a receiving perspective in the early part of training camp.
