PFT’s Week 12 NFL picks, Florio vs. Simms
Lions (-7.5) at Colts
The Lions keep on roaring.
Florio: Lions, 42-20.
Simms: Lions 30-20.
...........
The Lions are being viewed by many, probably most in the media that cover the NFL, as the best team in the NFL. The point spread of the game and these predictions reflect this.

Week 12 broadcast map shows major disrespect to the Lions from FOX
..........
Part of the decision is because those with Fox Sports making the decision likely believe that the Colts aren't a team that's going to draw enough interest, compared to both Dallas and Washington. The Colts were already Flexed out of last Sunday Night's NBC Prime Time spot, for their game at the Jets.

Predictions: Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts
...........
This article was written before Terrion Arnold was declared out for the game because of a groin injury.
With the injury situation the Lions are dealing with on Defense, the Lions Offense needs to step up again. The Colts are a dangerous team on both sides of the ball, regardless that they are 5-6. I don't think the Lions will take them lightly.
The reality of the situation is the Lions are only 1 game ahead of Minnesota and 2 ahead of Green Bay in the NFL North Race. In the overall NFC race, Philadelphia is also only a game beyond the Lions. The Lions must continue to play with urgency.

Colts among teams with 'most at stake' in Week 12
........
The Colts have momentum after their comeback win last Sunday at the Jets. They are now back home to face the Lions. A significant factor in this game could turn out to be how many Lions fans are at the game? With Indianapolis being relatively close in distance to Detroit and even close to S.W. and S. Central Michigan, I'm anticipating there will be many more Lions fans at this game than away team fans at a typical home game in Indianapolis.

Detroit Lions vs. Indianapolis Colts: Dave Birkett's scouting report, prediction
..........
Anthony Richardson is coming off a game, a 28-27 comeback win at the Jets, in which he completed 66.7 % of his passes and had a 9.1 avg. per pass, which is very good. It's possible the light went on for Richardson, while spending a couple of games on the bench. The Lions need to be focused and technically sound against Richardson in every which way.

Lions inactives vs. Colts: Terrion Arnold and a new OL added to the list
..........
Al-Quadin Muhammad not being active against the team he was with the most in the NFL and Kayode Awosika being inactive are the Lion Inactives that caught my attention. Hopefully, the only game action at Guard Christian Mahogany will see in this game is with the Lions having a big lead in the 4th QTR.
