T.J. Lang is a huge asset at RG when he's relatively healthy. The drop-off from Lang to Kenny Wiggins was substantial.
Because of Lang's concussion and overall history, the only way that the Lions can afford to bring back from a practical standpoint is if Lang agrees to a restructured contract that's much more incentive based than salary and overall guarantee base.
The Lions must get better RG play than what Wiggins is capable of providing against higher quality Defenders.
The reality of the situation is Lang would be taking a tremendous risk playing in the NFL again. I hope he decides to retire.
