Titans “leaning toward” starting Mason Rudolph again this week

Without a full amount of practice reps, which clearly is the case regarding Will Levis this week, I think it's highly likely that Mason Rudolph starts in Detroit this coming Sunday. Rudolph was the Steelers QB in the 2021 season 16-16 tie vs. the Lions in Pittsburgh. The tie came in the Lions first game after the bye, following the Lions 0-8 start to the season, and Dan Campbell era. So much has changed for the better for the Lions since that time.

Al-Quadin Muhammad has 12 career sacks, including 6 with the Indianapolis Colts in 2021.
The reality is Aaron Glenn is very likely going to need to be creative for the Lions to generate a pass rush much more often than not, barring the possibility of one or more trades.

Quandre Diggs was a salary cap casualty by the Seahawks this past off-season. Diggs doesn't have an Interception or Forced Fumble this season with the Titans. But prior to this season, he had 24 interceptions and 5 forced fumbles in the NFL.

The Lions need to put the Titans away early. To the point that Tennessee Vols fans have the opportunity to see former Vol QB Hendon Hooker in early in the 4th QTR for the Lions, with Jared Goff finishing the day relatively healthy, with the Lions up by a wide margin.

Predictions: Detroit Lions vs. Tennessee Titans
.......
Temps. in the 30s, with mixed precipitation, and wind, definitely had an adverse effect on the passing game of both the Lions and Steelers in what ended up as a 16-16 tie in the 2021 game between the teams.
Weather won't be a factor for Jared Goff, Mason Rudolph, or any player in tomorrow's Lions game against the Titans.

Titans vs. Lions: 3 causes for concern in Week 8

Collectively, the Titans that will be on their Game Day roster in Detroit are probably the worst team the Lions will face all season.
The Lions need to remain focused, hopefully getting out of this game with a decisive win, and remaining relatively healthy.
