Lions to host Auburn CB on a pre-draft visit

This new thread relates to the following thread:
NFL Draft Preview: Defensive Backs ( 2024 )

Nehemiah Pritchett has a good to very good combination of speed and length (31 5/8" arm length). This helps Pritchett usually being effective with jams on receivers at or near the line of scrimmage.
Two concerns come to mind regarding Pritchett as an NFL prospect the Lions are taking a very close look at:
1. He's over aggressive in coverage, both on moves by receivers and being at great risk to be penalized for Pass Interference and other related infractions. 2. He's not physical enough against the run.
I think the 3rd or 4th Round is likely when Pritchett will be drafted. With an outside chance of Pritchett going in the 2nd Round or lasting to the 5th Round.
My guess at this time is the Lions will pass on Nehemiah Pritchett with Pick # 73, in Round 3. If Pritchett had a better track record vs. the run, then he probably would have been a serious candidate to be selected by the Lions, if available with Pick # 61 in Round 2. When the dust settles, my hunch is by the part of the draft the Lions would draft Pritchett, he will already have been selected by another team.
