I'm more than comfortable with Dan Campbell's approach on keeping starters out of the pre-season games.

The Lions have a long history of losing players for the season with pre-season injuries. Starting QB Gary Danielson suffered a season ending knee injury at Baltimore in the 2nd half of the final pre-season game of the 1979 season, which derailed the Lions season.
