Lions will work out Washington TE Drew Sample

Lions have Pick # 8 in the 2019 NFL Draft
Drew Sample probably helped himself at the Combine, running a little faster 40 than expected, at a little higher weight than he was listed prior.
When the dust settles, Sample probably will go somewhere in the middle rounds, with his ceiling the 3rd Round and his floor in Round 6 ( slightly out of the middle rounds ).
Sample probably has more upside as an in-line blocker than as a receiver.
I have some doubts that Sample offers enough, compared to what the Lions already have on the roster.
