There have also been reports that the Falcons are looking up to trade for Ed Oliver. Though Grady Jarrett signed tbe Franchise Tag Tender the other day, it remains to be seen if the two sides will be able to work out a long term contract.

With the Falcons history of trading up in Round 1 ( Julian Jones immediately comes to mind ), I think there's very realistic potential the Lions can work out a trade with the Falcons for pick # 8.

If Montez Sweat was misdiagnosed, did teams get a medical report?

If the updated information reported in this article is indeed the case, I thibk it's imperative that Dr. James Muntz provides all the NFL teams his medical report on Montez Sweat prior to the draft. Sweat should insist this happens.

My guess is the Lions will pass on Montez Sweat if he's available at pick # 8. Yet, if the Lions trade down and Sweat is still available, he will get serious consideration. So much depends on the Lions other options.
