Very good news! Kalif Raymond earned a multi-year contract extension. Raymond far exceeded my expectations from when the Lions signed Raymond as an UFA from the Titans, in 2021. Raymond exceeded the expectations of the vast majority of others, that follow the Lions closely. Raymond has been as reliable as any Punt Returner in the NFL. Combined with Raymond finishing 2nd in the NFL in Punt Return Average, Raymond doesn't take a back seat to any Punt Returner in the NFL. As a WR, Raymond has been an even greater surprise than as a Punt Returner. Raymond is arguably the best pound for pound blocker in the NFL at any position. Hard work certainly has paid off for Raymond!
