Revamped TE room and poor production could make Jason Cabinda the odd man out

If Jason Cabinda remains relatively healthy this summer, I think he has a pretty good chance of maintaining his spot on the Lions regular season roster. A significant reason why I won't go beyond saying a 'pretty good chance', at least at this time, is because Cabinda takes up more salary cap space than all or most of the players he will be competing for a roster spot. The Lions would save over $ 2 million in cap space in 2023, if the Lions release Cabinda.
