Lions safety Tavon Wilson agrees to take a pay cut

This is a harsh reality of the NFL in the salary cap era. With Tavon Wilson getting noticeably less snaps on Defense on a per game basis in 2018, compared to his previous 2 seasons with the Lions, the news that the Lions asked him to take a pay cut was expected on this end.

I understand, and agree, with the Lions’ decision to ask for the pay cut...and I’m glad that Tavon Wilson accepted it.

Same here, Joe.

I still believe the Lions will add at least one more Safety of significance to the mix. The priority level though has lessened.
