PFT’s NFL Week 14 2022 picks
Vikings (+2.5) at Lions
MDS’s take: It might look a little strange that the 5-7 Lions are favored over the 10-2 Vikings, but it makes sense given how well the Lions have been playing lately. They’ll win this one.
MDS’s pick: Lions 24, Vikings 20.
Florio’s take: Nothing gets a 10-2 team more focused and motivated than being a 2.5-point underdog against a team that started the year 1-6.
Florio’s pick: Vikings 30, Lions 27.

Lions vs. Vikings Injury info: Game # 13 ( 2022 )

The Vikings were a very slight favorite early in the week. Regardless, of whether the Lions win or not, the Lions becoming favorite to win this game is an indicator that the perception (which I agree with) is that the Lions have made enormous progress.

5 Bold predictions for Sunday's Week 14 Vikings vs. Lions
...........
I would be surprised and disappointed if the Vikings end up beating the Lions by 10 or more points, knowing the Lions didn't turn the ball over during the game.
With all due respect to T.J. Hockenson, if it comes down to Hockenson getting opportunities with the ball thrown to him, compared to WR Justin Jefferson, I hope the Vikings throw to Hock repeatedly. Even if it means that Hock gets 120 + yards.

Scouting report: Lions vs. Vikings
..........
When it comes to game changes on the Vikings Offense, Justin Jefferson is 1A, Dalvin Cook is 1B. Cook is having a relatively quiet season. Yet, he still is 5th in the NFL in rushing yardage (927), has a 4.7 AVG per Rush, and 7 Rushing TDs. There isn't a team in the NFL that has a more explosive/ impactful WR-RB duo than the Vikings have with Jefferson and Cook.

Vikings vs. Lions: Week 14 preview and predictions
..........
The Vikings have earned the slight benefit of the doubt. The Lions came up short against the Bills on Thanksgiving Day when the game was on the line. The type of game, the Vikings have been consistently willing. Including, the OT classic road win at the Bills 27 days ago.

Behind Enemy Lines: Previewing Vikings' Week 14 matchup with Lions Wire
.........
Kerby Joseph has been a huge part of the Lions improvement on Defense. James Houston has been making an enormous difference as well in his limited opportunities in his first two games.
The Lions need to improve on defending crossing routes and related to this, rub routes that are or close to being illegal picks. The Vikings will very likely attempt to exploit the Lions in these areas.

Why I think Detroit Lions beat Minnesota Vikings to stay in wild-card chase
..........
The Vikings haven't played on the road in a Dome Stadium yet this season. I strongly believe that the Lions home field advantage in this game can make the difference in the Lions winning the game. Even if the crowd noise doesn't directly or indirectly lead to a takeaway or sack, it can lead to an incompletion because of pressure or a running play failing for the Vikings.
