The Lions need to keep Justin Fields contained. With the Bears trading away DE Robert Quinn and LB Roquan Smith, Fields is clearly the Bears player with the greatest chance of taking over this game.

I think Dave Birkett is underrating the supporting cast Justin Fields has at the skill positions, in the Bears passing game. The Bears passing game potential for this game is that much more concerning, with the emphasis and resources the Lions need for Defending the run and overall containment of Fields.

If the Bears play more zone coverage than the Lions previous 4 opponents, which I believe will be the case, this is a very good opportunity for Jared Goff to have one of the best games since he's been with the Lions. The Bears best pass rushers from the previous few seasons are no longer with them.

While my prediction is Bears 28, Lions 27, this is a game that's there for the taking for the Lions. Until the Lions win 2 in a row and a game on the road, I'm not planning on predicting the Lions to win in either scenario.
