There's no telling if one or more Lions players will end up on the team's COVID-19 list before the game in Seattle.
The Lions only scored 10 points in the first game Tim Boyle started, the 13-10 loss in Cleveland.
As much as I don't think Boyle is a viable # 2 QB option in the NFL, he's going to be in an extremely difficult situation if the Lions COVID-19 situation doesn't substantially improve in time for the Seahawks game. |

Jared Goff doubtful to play vs. Seahawks; Detroit Lions preparing to start Tim Boyle at QB

Rain would make it even more difficult for the Lions to have anything close to an efficient and effective passing game in Seattle. The Patriots beat the Bills a few weeks ago at Buffalo, on MNF, when attempting only 3 passes the entire game in extremely windy conditions. The Lions should attempt a similar strategy tomorrow, even with a Defense that in its present form is nowhere near the level of the Patriots Defense.
