Between the emotion of the Lions finally winning a game and the team's flu outbreak, which has immensely affected the Lions first two practices this week, I don't think it's likely that the Lions are going beat the Broncos in Denver this coming Sunday. The Broncos are a roller coaster team. They are coming off a loss in Kansas City in which they only scored 9 points. With the Broncos in a must win situation or very close to it, I think they will be heavily focused for this game.

The Lions are paper thin at CB for this game ( 3 backup CBs were placed on the COVID-19 and Tracy Walker is out as well. As a result, will the Broncos use 3 to 5 WRs often to try to take advantage of the situation? That much more, with Juilian Okwara and Jalen Reeves-Maybin out as well?

The Lions are going to need to be aggressive on Defense. That's the only way the Lions will probably be able to get the Broncos off the field, unless the Broncos get into bad down and distance situations because of penalties. The Lions can't afford the Broncos having long sustained drives. The high altitude, depth being severely limited because of COViD-19 & injuries, and the affects of the flu for some Lions Defensive players, makes it imperative that the Lions Defense isn't on the field for long sustained drives.

T.J. Hockenson is Doubtful for the game because of a hand injury.

With all due respect to Melvin Gordon, I much rather the Broncos give him the ball tomorrow than Javonte Williams. That much more with the high altitude and the Lions availability & health situations on Defense.

Hopefully, the family, friends, and former teammates of Demaryius Thomas are doing as well as possible after the shocking news on Thursday Evening of his passing. The Broncos will very likely be inspired by the memory of Demaryius Thomas to have their best game yet this season. This on top of the ultra-importance of this game for their playoff chances.

I hope the Lions pass Defense plays at least up to the convince level Dave Birkett has for this game but I'm not optimistic.

I think the Lions will battle hard. But the overall health situation with the Lions and how it adversely affected practices leading up to today's game will be too much for the Lions to overcome in the Denver Mile High Altitude.
