The Lions need Evan Brown to be consistently good with communication and assignments. If Brown is successful with this, it will decrease the loss of Frank Ragnow substantially. This will be a huge test this coming Sunday against Mike Zimmer and his Vikings Defense.

I thought Evan Brown did a good job as a pass blocker at the LA Rams but I didn't realize he didn't even give up a pressure. Great job by Brown in this facet of play!

On the other hand, differences between what Frank Ragnow provides as a run blocker when relatively healthy, compared to Evan Brown were noticeable often. Brown just doesn't have Ragnow's abilities. Not many do. To Brown's credit, he battles hard and is a smart player.
