Quentez Cephus helps illustrate the importance of this season in the Lions long term building process. If Cephus continues to improve, he could be part of a the long term solution for the Lions at WR.
Quintez Cephus was the Lions best all around WR before going down with what could be a season ending injury, on one of his best plays yet. In addition to Cephus' contribution catching and running with the ball, his blocking was as good, if not better than of any of the Lions WRs through 5 games. His overall moxie as a player is a reflection of what Dan Campbell and his staff are seeking.
If Cephus is indeed out for the season or even most of the remainder of the season, it's a major setback in the Lions rebuilding efforts. I wish him the best is his recovery.
