This is a good decision by Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell. By placing Tyrell Williams on I.R. , it eliminates Williams coming back to even practice, before he clearly is much better than he currently is. Hopefully, Williams will be recovered long before he's eligible to even practice with the Lions again..
