15 players on the wire who could make sense for the Detroit Lions

Lions reach the 53 roster limit after cutdown (2021 season )

Anthony Lynn's insight on Michael Badgley should help Brad Holmes and co. in the Lions decision making process...
Jake Verity is intriguing but major growing pains are a very realistic possibility with him.
Vyncient Smith is intriguing as a Waiver Wire Claim option. Certain as. Practice Squad option if he clears waivers. Smith has a very good size / speed ratio.
I hope the Lions pass on John Brown. He seems like a player in decline.
Marvin Wilson probably is more of a P.S. option to consider if he clears waivers, than attempting to claim him. If Brad Holmes thought enough of Wilson as an NFL Draft prospect, he would have probably acquired another late round draft pick in the 2021 Draft.
Jacob Hollister is well worth considering as a waiver claim option for the Lions. I'm surprised the Bills moved on from him.
Micah Kiser would very likely be an upgrade Anthony Pittman at Off the Ball / ILB. So much depends on Brad Holmes' assessment of Kiser on Special Teams. He's a very realistic Waiver Claim possibility for the Lions.
Pharoh Cooper hasn't been anywhere close to as effective on Returns in recent seasons. I hope the Lions pass on him.
Brad Holmes' input on Trishton Jackson provides confidence that the Lions will make a good decision on how to proceed with him.
Antonio Gandy-Golden definitely should be seriously considered as a waiver claim by the Lions. With all due respect to Tom Kennedy, it would be seem difficult to keep Kennedy over AGG if the opportunity presents itself in the Waiver Claim Process.
Shawn Davis probably would be a better P.S. option, he available following the Waiver Claim process.
Joe Burrow isn't exactly objective regarding his former LSU teammate.
The Lions appear better off going with youth at CB than with a journeyman like Rasul Douglas, who probably was a better fit for the Lions previous Defensive Scheme.
Kenny Robinson seems like a better P.S. option for the Lions, if available, than a Waiver Claim option.
