Lions DBs past and present don't hide their Matt Patricia scars
........
How the Lions should proceed regarding contract negotiations with Walker / his agent should become much clearer as the 2020 regular season moves along.
The following from the previous message should read:

Ironically, practically all of the criticism of Matt Patricia from current or former Lions players is from Defensive Side of the ball players. Patricia was the Patriots Defensive Coordinator for 6 seasons before becoming Lions HC. He was a position Coach on Defense for the Patriots the 6 seasons prior to becoming their DC.

Tracy Walker is PFF's choice as the Lions' bounce-back candidate for 2021
.......
Tracy Walker is my choice as well.
Trey Flowers was having a pretty good season ( even though his sack total was low ) before he suffered a season ending injury against the Colts on November 1.
Big V was dealing with a foot injury all season. Though I think Big V will perform in 2021, much more like he did with the Eagles when given opportunities with them, Walker would be bouncing back from a season that injury wasn't a primary factor for his disappointing 2020 season. I realize the criteria for the award/classification is subjective.
Amani Oruwariye has yet to put together the type of season that he should even be seriously considered a bounce back candidate. As a rookie in 2019, he showed promise on a limited amount of snaps. Nothing more.
