Winners and losers from Detroit Lions training camp through the 1st two weeks
......
Jahlani Tavai is probably on the wrong end of the Lions roster bubble at this time. But I still believe he has a chance to survive the cutdown to 53, especially if he is an asset on Special Teams in the 3 combined Pre-Season games.
Quintez Cephus and / or recently signed Darius Jennings probably have the best chance to be on the Lions opening day roster, beyond the top 4 WRs mentioned in the article. . From my point of view, even with Jermar Jefferson's questions marks/ shortcomings entering training camp, he was the still the most likely RB on the Lions roster to be the team's # 3 RB ( if the position is filled internally. ). That hasn't changed, though his health situation bears watching.

Lions injury update: 10 players sit out practice No. 15
.......
This injury news is on top of the injured players that landed on IR or off the Lions active roster with a different designation.
D'Andre Swift's groin injury is especially concerning from a football standpoint. T.J. Hockenson and Da'Shawn Hand might end up in the same category as Swift, if they haven't already.
Much needed good news regarding Levi Onwuzurike!

Lions training camp awards for 2021
.........
The vast improvement of Jeff Okudah in training camp, compared to his overall rookie season, is the most Lions impactful story regarding a player on the Lions roster.
If the Lions most disappointing rookie in Training Camp is indeed a UDRFA, that bodes well for the Lions 2021 Draft Class.
