Even if there wasn't trade compensation and salary cap concerns regarding Antonio Brown,  I would be concerned if he was traded to the Lions.  Brown is a huge distraction and someone that the Steelers couldn't count on to play when they absolutely need a win vs. the Bengals in the final regular season game to have a chance at making the playoffs.  I don't want him on the Lions.  


As for Kenny Golladay's comments, I appreciate that he's defending his teammates. Golladay isn't the Lions GM.  He has the luxury of making the comments that he did about some of the other Lions WRs.  It remains to be seen if UFAs T.J. Jones and Bruce Ellington will be back with the Lions.

While I appreciate & respect Antonio Brown’s efforts ON the field, I have NO desire to see him in a Lions’ uniform.
IF Bob Quinn were to sign him, worse yet trade for him, it would be the worst decision during his time with the Lions.
Not only would I not support the decision; I would no longer support Bob Quinn.

And this is coming from a part-time Steelers’ fan who was AT the “Immaculate Reception” game and their Super Bowl victory in 1980.

A replay reversal needs to have indisputable evidence. On a play like this one ( the TD that was overturned ), the call on the field should have stood. Al Riveron needs to be replaced ASAP. Between this reversal and his comment regarding the final play of the game, the NFL seems like a football version of the WWE.
