Looking ahead: Lions draw reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes, high-powered Chiefs in Week 4
……………
Even with injuries to key Offensive players, the Chiefs have been explosive and effective on Offense.
IMHO, Patrick Mahomes is the most differential player in the NFL. As long as Mahomes is on the field, the Chiefs are very difficult to defeat. The Lions have a major uphill battle, even if tbe team's injury situation turns out to be much better than in most of the 2nd half of tbe game in Philadelphia.

PFT’s Week Four picks
Chiefs at Lions
MDS’s take: It’s not often that an undefeated team is a touchdown underdog at home, but the Lions are — and they should be even bigger underdogs. MDS’s pick: Chiefs 35, Lions 16.
Florio’s take: If the Lions can pull this one off, we need to dramatically change how we view the Lions. For now, though, it’s hard to imagine any team not located in New England outpacing Patrick Mahomes and company. Florio’s pick: Chiefs 34, Lions 24.
…………… Even if the Lions were at full strength from a health standpoint, the Lions would warrant being an underdog of at least 3 points.

Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Scouting report and prediction
The Lions had plenty of problems against Frank Clark last season in the Seahawks win over the Lions in Detroit. With Seattle, he was a differential player. If he proves to be with the Chiefs, they are going to be ultra difficult for any team to beat.
Unlike the Eagles, which were w/o their top 2 WRs against the Lions, the Chiefs enter this game with more than enough firepower to make it difficult for the Lions to double team TE Travis Kelce on a regular basis.
If the Lions are legitimately in this game until at least the last few minutes, it should bode well for the Lions moving forward.

Detroit News predictions: Lions vs. Chiefs
………….
The Lions need several 10 plus play TD drives. Scoring TDs and giving the Chiefs less possessions seem critical in terms of the Lions chances to pull off an upset.

Detroit Lions predictions vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Who wins and why
…………….
I'm planning to post my prediction score after seeing the Game Day Inactives. Barring something very unexpected, I'm predicting the Chiefs to win the game. The Lions injuries on Defense probably will prove too much for the Lions against an elite Chiefs passing attack.

Five things to watch: Chiefs at Lions
…………..
My guess is the Chiefs will load the box often, much like the Eagles did last week. With many blitzes mixed into the Defensive Game Plan. With the prolific Offense they have, they can afford to be aggressive on Defense.
