PFT’s Week Four picks
Saints (-4) at Lions
MDS’s take: The Lions looked better than expected on Sunday and the Saints looked worse, but I just don’t see the Lions’ defense being able to stop the Saints’ multifaceted offensive attack.
MDS’s pick: Saints 30, Lions 20.
Florio’s take: The Lions have gotten their win for the first half of the season, so they can take their foot off the gas against a desperate Saints team.
Florio’s pick: Saints 31, Lions 17.
...........
An enormous key for the Lions for this game is Turnovers vs. Takeaways. That much more with the upside of the Saints Offense. The Lions + 3 ratio in Arizona in favor of Takeaways was probably the # 1 reason the Lions won the game.

Detroit News scouting report: Lions vs. Saints
..........
There's no question that Alvin Kamara is the key player on the Saints, going into this game. Keeping him contained, both as a receiver and a rusher, would go a long way in the Lions ending up winning the game.

Detroit News predictions: Lions vs. Saints
.........
Even though the Saints have a deep roster, being without Michael Thomas and both starting CBs is a difficult spot to be in. The Saints are more than capable of winning this game. They remain the favorite. Yet, if the Lions build on the win in Arizona, continuing to protect the ball, the Lions should win this game.

Lions vs. Saints: Matchups to watch, key questions heading into Week 4 game
...........
Because Cameron Jordan primarily lines up at LDE, I doubt he will be matched up against Taylor Decker much. It's more likely than not that Decker won't face Jordan at all in this game.
Since Drew Brees doesn't remind anyone in his 20th NFL season of Kyler Murray from speed and quickness standpoints, I'm anticipating the Lions to play noticeably more Man to Man Coverage than in Arizona last Sunday.

Lions vs. Saints: Five things to watch
.........
Even though the Saints have arguably the worst current injury in the NFL, the Lions need to continue to be strong on Special Teams in this game. Not to mention, avoid turnovers on Offense, let alone the Saints scoring even one TD on Defense.
In the 2017 game in New Orleans between the Luins and Saints, the Lions actually cut the Saints lead to 7 points ( 45-38 ), before the Interception for a TD by Cameron Jordan.

False positive wreaks havoc on Saints’ routine
.............
This thread relates to the following thread:
How the Coronavirus is affecting the Lions / NFL overall
How the Coronavirus is affecting the Lions / NFL overall
Some of the Lions players might have found out last night / or after Midnight about the news regarding Michael Burton testing Positive for COVID-19 ( which turned out to be a False Positive Test result ). Hence, this could also have an adverse affect on them.
The point spread of the game, at least according to one site, dropped to Saints being favorite by 3 points, before the news about Burton's Positive test. Very likely, because of Friday's Injury Report.

Week Four early inactives
Saints at Lions
Saints: WR Michael Thomas, TE Jared Cook, DE Marucs Davenport, CB Marshon Lattimore, CB Janoris Jenkins, G Andrus Peat, DT Shy Tuttle
Lions: S C.J. Moore, CB Chris Jones, TE Hunter Bryant, LB Elijah Lee, G Logan Stenberg
............
Excellent news on the Lions Injury Front.
The only thing that jumps out is Elijah Lee is Inactive. The Holding Penalty he committed on a 2nd Half Kickoff in Arizona last Sunday could have been very costly.
