Desmond Trufant appears to be a good mentor for Jeff Okudah. Trufant's much older brother Marcus was a 1st Round pick by the Seahawks and he had a very good NFL playing career. Hence, Desmond Trufant has been around the NFL much longer than most players ever have. I think there's plenty that he can share with Okudah that will help Okudah become a high quality NFL CB.

Not many CBs play their first NFL game of any type against Aaron Rogers or a QB even close to Rodgers in terms of what he brings to the table as a QB. Going against WR Davonte Adams is a huge challenge as well, even if help is provided often. On the other hand, not many CBs are drafted as high as # 3 overall. Jeff Okudah is the first one this century.

I have no idea if the 97.1 FM report is true. But if it is true, it would be easier to envision Bob Quinn be willing to fire Matt Patricia during or after the season in order to save his own job.

Jeff Okudah looks like the best run Defense and Tackling CB on the Lions.

I think he's also improving in coverage, from a consistency standpoint.

A CB rotation at present could end up benefiting Jeff Okudah ( and hence the Lions ) even with Okudah getting far less game snaps as a result. Okudah now has the opportunity to get plenty of snaps and also watch the Lions Defense in action during games. In the heat of battle, it's often more difficult to recognize your own mistakes.
