Tom Dempsey dies after COVID-19 battle

My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom's family, those close to him, and to Saints Nation.
I was 8 years old when Tom Dempsey made the then record setting 63 YD FG against the Lions. Even at that age, it was apparent what Tom Dempsey accomplished.

NFL cancels all international games in London, Mexico City for the 2020 NFL season

Regardless of how one feels about NFL games being played in the UK and Mexico City in much more normal years, I think the NFL made the only sensible decision this time around. The uncertainty with foreign travel as a result of COVID-19, makes it near impossible for the NFL to schedule games outside the USA for the 2020 season.

Don’t even get me started on Gretchen Whitmer!!!!! She has shown time and time again that she cares more about the Democratic Party than she does the people of Michigan! It is WAY too early to be making any projections and considering the progress we’ve made in 2 months and the numbers in Georgia, I’m hopeful things won’t be as bad as people say when September rolls around! Gretchen Nightmare’s only solution is to stay at home. She honestly has no interest in opening the economy....her sole focus is to stay at home. That’s not going to work. Predicting something in September when we don’t know where we will be at is completely irresponsible governing!!!!!! Kudos to the NFL and the Lions for still preparing to play in front of fans this season.

The Governor of Michigan should have said that September is a long way off and we are preparing for various contingencies. She is more concerned about retaining and expanding her power than governing in the best interest of the people in the state of Michigan.

The Lions are going to need contingency plans for Training Camp. How practical it will be for the Lions to conduct Training Camp in Allen Park this year remains to be seen.
One concern is even if the Lions have part of training camp out of town, there's still going to be a 90 man roster ( or close to that ) until the Cutdown to 53 following the final pre-season game. To what extent can the Lions isolate the players once training camp ends seems like a key question?

The decision makes sense from the standpoint of limiting larger gatherings of people, in a non game setting. The downside is the product on the field in games is probably going to be worse than in past seasons.
