The game at Green Bay is the most recent game the Lions had more than one takeaway. The Lions takeaways early this season helped camouflage deficiencies on the Lions Defense.
Until 2013, the Lions lost every game on the road to the Washington Redskins in history. The Lions previous road win against the Redskins was in the 1935s against the Boston Redskins. I was far from certain I would ever see a Lions road win at Washington. My greatest appreciation for what Jim Schwartz accomplished as Lions HC was being the HC that broke the losing streak at Washington. Because of that, the streak is not an issue for this coming Sunday's game.

With Josh Norman listed as Questionable because of a Hamstring injury, chances are good that he will be tested by the Lions if he plays. Especially, with Quenton Dunbar having the better season. The Redskins CBs other than Dunbar likely will challenged by the Lions.
Chris Thompson is a huge concern, considering the Lions problems in coverage against skilled receiving RBs.
Montez Sweat is the Redskins player on Defense who concerns me the most. Taylor Decker needs to have a rebound game.

However, RB Chris Thompson has at minimum a 50% of playing in this game.
Terry McLaurin would be a serious Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate if he was on a team that was winning much more often. Dangerous player. He's already proven to be much more than a top Special Teams prospect.
WR Paul Richardson was a differential factor in the Seahawks 2016 season playoff win over the Lions. Injuries though have been a theme with Richardson. |

Regarding the video, it's hard to imagine this being a trap game for the Lions. The Lions have only won one once since starting the season 2-0-1, are without Matthew Stafford, and a number of other key players. If the Lions lose, it very likely won't be because the Lions are looking ahead to the Thanksgiving Day game against the Bears.

Fabian Moreau, a former 3rd Round Pick, is who I'm assuming will start in place of Josh Norman. I don't consider this good news for the Lions.

Despite the HOF Caliber career Adrian Peterson has had and his history against the Lions, the youth / ability of Derrius Guice is more concerning on this end. As great of a rusher Peterson has been over the years, his receiving and pass protection weren't close to that level.
