David Fales more likely than not be released by the Lions as soon as the team medical staff and coaches are satisfied with Tom Savage's health.


I'm glad to see Joe Dahl getting starting reps over Kenny Wiggins, in what appears to be the # 1 Offensive Line combination.


Andrew Adams needs to rebound from what looked like a losing level performance in the pre-season opener.

Danny Amendola might be the Lions best performer in Training Camp through this point in time. He's clearly in the conversation.

If Damon Harrison isn't practicing this week, there's a good chance he will miss the entire pre-season games slate.

Good news regarding Da'Shawn Hand.

Chris Lacy and Andrew Adams need strong pre-season game performances to realistically at least survive the cutdown to 53. That much more with Lacy.

Positives were the play of Matthew Stafford and Josh Johnson.

The most pronounced negative continues to be the Lions injury situation on the Defensive Line and with Jarrad Davis remaining out.

Good news on the injury front. Barring setbacks and / or new injuries, the Lions should have a much higher % of key players on the field in pre-season game action vs. Buffalo than in the first two pre-season games.

Even though Lions Training Camp officially ended before the pre-season game at Houston. I plan on using this thread for practice / injury updates leading up to the pre-season finale at Cleveland.

This is welcome injury related news. It's fair to say that this is a huge week for the 4 players that returned to practice today. The depth / roster situation at their respective positions is very unsettled at this point in time.

It seems possible that Da'Shawn Hand is a candidate for Short Term I.R.

This article is regarding Monday's ( yesterday's ) practice.

Considering the lack of proven depth the Lions have at CB beyond Darius Slay, Rashaan Melvin, and Justin Coleman, the unknown ( publicly ) injury Melvin is dealing with is more concerning than if the Lions CB depth situation looked more promising in the short term.
