Lions sign five players to Reserve-Future contracts
The Detroit Lions have signed five players to Reserve-Future contracts including JACK linebacker Garret Dooley, wide receiver Deontez Alexander, safety David Jones, offensive lineman Jarron Jones and defensive end Jonathan Wynn.

A number of other players that were on the Lions Practice Squad during part of the 2018 season got promoted to the Lions 53 man roster in the days and weeks before the regular season ended. Injuries to players on the Lions 53 man roster played a HUGE part of why this happened.
