David Baba probably doesn't have a long term future with the Lions as a player, as he's already 29 years old.
The main benefit of the Lions signing Baba is he doesn't count as part of the 90 man Training Camp roster and he won't count as part of the Lions Practice Squad, if the Lions and Bada agree to a Practice Squad Contract.
